May 16, Fineko/abc.az. The Memorandum of Understanding on expansion of cooperation has been signed between the Ministry of Agriculture and Azercosmos at the 17th Azerbaijan International Agricultural Exhibition (Caspian Agro) in Baku.

ABC.AZ reports that in accordance with the agreement reached, a digital map will be prepared to update the geographical database of pivot systems, including a map of crop species in active agricultural territories of the country using satellite images and space solutions.

It is noted that the main goal is to carry out work on assessing the impact of climate on agriculture based on satellite images as part of the fight against climate change.
