May 16, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Apr 2024, Azerbaijan exported 52,175 tons of tomatoes for $71.167 million.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the SCC that compared with Jan-Apr 2023, tomato exports grew by $17.6 million or 31% in value terms and by 8,837 tons or 20% in quantitative terms.

In 4 months of 2023, the country exported 43,338 tons of tomatoes for $54.16 million.

The average export price of 1 kg of tomatoes for Jan-Apr 2024 reached 2.31 manats (0.19 manats (9%) more than a year ago).

Over Jan-Apr 2023, 1 kg of tomatoes cost 2.12 manats.
