A dairy production plant to be built in Agdam — date announced

May 16, Fineko/abc.az. Agdam Süd LLC, a resident of the Agdam Industrial Park, which is under the jurisdiction of the Economic Zones Development Agency (under the Ministry of Economy), will begin construction of a dairy production plant in August of this year, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Hafiz Taptigov, the founder of Agdam Süd LLC.

He added that construction work is to finish in about 6 months, and production will begin in the middle of next year. The factory will produce Dutch cheese, white cheese, yogurt, ice cream of 50 varieties, shore, ayran, kefir, cottage cheese, etc. In total, 2.2 million manats will be invested in the enterprise. The equipment needed for production will be purchased in Iran, Türkiye and Europe. The construction materials produced in the Agdam Industrial Park will be used for the construction work.

At least 40 permanent jobs will be created at the enterprise. At the second stage, the daily production capacity of the enterprise will be 5-10 tons, but the goal is to bring the production capacity of the enterprise to 50 tons.

The plant's output will be sold on the Azerbaijani market, as well as exported to foreign countries. Initially, various varieties of cheeses will be exported to Russia.
