Cost of oil goes up, and Brent is at $83.58 a barrel

May 17, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are rising in Friday’s trading and end the week with an increase.

The price of July’s Brent crude futures on the London ICE Futures exchange rose by $0.31 (0.37%) to $83.58 per barrel by 09:35. Following the trading on May 16, Brent crude futures for July grew by $0.52 (0.63%) to $83.27 per barrel.

The price of WTI crude oil futures for June on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) increased by $0.17 (0.21%) to $79.40 per barrel by 09:35. Following the trading on May 16, the price of June WTI oil futures grew by $0.60 (0.76%) to $79.23 per barrel.
