Payment of uniform monthly allowances to residents of these districts halted

May 17, Fineko/ Since May 1, the payment of uniform monthly allowances to citizens permanently residing in the city of Goradiz and 21 villages of Fuzuli, as well as 7 villages of Aghdam districts, has been suspended, ABC.AZ was informed at the State Committee for Refugees & IDPs.

This decision relates to ensuring the safe living and functioning of the population in these territories.

A similar decision was also applied to the permanent residents of the village of Jojug Marjanli in Jabrayil district, which was restored after liberation in 2017.

Under valid law, social protection measures at the expense of the State Budget, including provision of a single monthly allowance, must be completed within three years from the moment conditions arise for the return of ex-IDPs to their former places of residence.
