May 17, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan manufactured 254 trucks for Jan-Apr 2024 (75.2% more against Jan-Apr 2023), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

As a result, by May 1, 2024, the country had accumulated stocks of finished products in the amount of 73 trucks. Over Jan-Apr 2024, Azerbaijan produced machinery and equipment, vehicles, cars, trailers and semi-trailers for 219.4 million manats. Compared with Jan-Apr 2023, production of cars, trailers and semi-trailers increased by 22.5%, while manufacture of machinery and equipment dropped by 16.8% and other vehicles by 27.3%.

Over Jan-Apr 2024, the country produced 948 automobiles (311 cars or 24.7% less versus Jan-Apr 2023). As of May 1, 2024, 273 units of stocks of finished products were created in the country.

Over the past months, Azerbaijan manufactured 233 tractors (20.5% less versus Jan-Apr 2023. As a result, by May 1, 2024, the country had accumulated stocks of finished products in the amount of 10 vehicles.
