May 20, Fineko/abc.az. The Tehran Stock Exchange suspended operations after the news of the death of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi.

ABC.AZ reports that Reza Eyvazlu, a member of the Board of Directors of the Exchange, informed about this.

"The stock exchange will be closed today and for several more upcoming days until official notification," Tasnim news agency quoted him as saying.

It should be noted that the helicopter carrying Raisi made a hard landing near the town of Varzegan near the Iranian-Azerbaijani border. All passengers and crew of the president's helicopter were killed in the crash.
