May 20, Fineko/abc.az. Steady growth has been recorded on the volume of traffic along the Middle Corridor, which is an integral part of the Silk Road.

ABC.AZ reports that Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said this during his speech at the Azerbaijani-Tajik business forum.

The minister added that in 2023, the cargo transportation via this route grew by 86% up to 2.7 million tons.

"The Alat Free Economic Zone, located near the Baku International Commercial Seaport, is ready for business relations with international investors," Jabbarov added.
