May 22, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan’s imports of premium gasoline with octane rating of 95 from abroad observed growth in the first quarter of 2024. However, premium gasoline in Azerbaijan is more expensive than in the previous year.

Azerbaijan imported a total of 18,563 tons of AI-95 gasoline from abroad in the first quarter, ABC.AZ reports with reference to official statistics. The total cost of imports is $18.02 million (48% more versus Q1 of 2023).
Azerbaijan bought most of the imported premium gasoline from Russia. Thus, the volume of imports during this period reached 11,645 tons for $10.85 million.
