May 22, Fineko/abc.az. A new suspension pedestrian bridge is being built on November 8 Avenue in Baku, which will connect Fountain Square Park and Seaside National Park.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Agency of Highways of Azerbaijan that the pedestrian bridge will be built using metal structures and modern architectural solutions within the framework of the White City Project.

The length of the single-span suspension bridge will be 230 m. The project was developed by German company Werner Sobek AG together with local engineers, and the architectural solutions were developed by famous Dutch architectural bureau UN Studio.

Along with the unique design, the bridge will ensure the safety and comfort of pedestrians. The bridge will become a favorite place for Baku residents and tourists to walk, the Agency said.
