May 24, Fineko/abc.az. Türkiye continues dialogue with the European Union at various levels and considers it necessary to intensify discussions on the issue of visa facilitation.

ABC.AZ reports that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said about this at a press conference after a meeting with European Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Oliver Varheli.

"Türkiye is working at the level of parliament and departments to resolve 4-5 remaining issues on the visa issue. After solving them, the process will be started. Recently, there has been a serious problem with visa issues in the EU. We’ve been discussing this with our European colleagues for quite some time. We’re negotiating directly with EU countries and discussing this issue with EU institutions in order to facilitate obtaining visas, especially for business representatives and students," he said.
