May 24, Fineko/abc.az. Russia has decided not to charge interests for overdue export loans from Türkiye — the delay in payments is caused by Western sanctions, which is a circumstance beyond Ankara's control.

ABC.AZ reports that Türkiye received a government loan from Russia in the amount of $726 million and fulfilled all obligations on time until 2022. However, due to Western sanctions against Russia, Türkiye was unable to make payments in the amount of $111 million in 2022 and 2023.
