May 30, Fineko/abc.az. The Prosecutor General's Office ensured the payment of 2.655 million manats to the State Environmental Protection Fund last year.

ABC.AZ reports that Deputy Prosecutor General Heydar Mammadov said about this at conference "Environmental offenses: education & legal regulation" in Ganja.

He added that last year, the Department of Non-Criminal Proceedings of the Prosecutor General's Office sent 133 criminal cases on environmental offenses to the investigative authorities, and proceedings on 36 administrative offenses were initiated.

"In 33 cases, relevant structures were issued orders to eliminate violations of the law and the causes that caused them," Mammadov said.
