May 30, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Mar 2024, Azerbaijan imported 3,860,024 live domestic chickens from abroad for $3.505 million.

ABC.AZ reports that compared with Jan-Mar 2023, the indicator is $391,000 or 12.6% more in value terms, 1,956,300 pieces or 33.6% less in quantitative terms.

Over Jan-Mar 2023, 5,816,370 domestic chickens were imported for $3,114,600.

The cost of 1 chicken for 3 months of 2024 amounted to $0.9 (1.5 manats), which is an increase of $0.4 (0.6 manats) or 69.6% against Jan-Mar 2023.

For Jan-Mar 2023, the average import price for 1 chicken was $0.5 (0.9 manats).
