May 31, Fineko/abc.az. After the end of the spring session, an extraordinary special session of Milli Majlis was convened.

ABC.AZ reports that according to Milli Majlis internal statute, extraordinary sessions of the parliament are convened by the parliament chairman at the request of the Azerbaijani president or 42 MPs of the legislative body.

Speaker Sahiba Gafarova noted that 80 MPs had requested the convening of an extraordinary session.

After the end of the extraordinary session, the parliamentarians will be on vacation from July 15 to August 30.
