ABC.AZ reports that President Ilham Aliyev said about this on June 4 during his speech at the opening ceremony at the Baku Expo Center of the 29th International Exhibition "Oil & Gas of the Caspian Sea" and the 12th Caspian International Exhibition "Energy & Green Energy" - Caspian Power within the Baku Energy Week.

"If climate change is a problem here in Azerbaijan, then it poses a threat to the existence of these island states. We take this issue seriously," the head of state added.
