Japan’s Transport Ministry inspects at Honda

June 10, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Public Lands, Infrastructure, Transport & Tourism of Japan is conducting an inspection at the headquarters of Honda concern because of suspected violations of testing rules for certain car models, ABC.AZ reports, referring to Kyodo news agency.

He added that five employees of the Ministry came to Honda headquarters in the morning and began an inspection. The company is suspected of violating reporting when testing cars for noise in the period from 2009 to 2017. This applies to 22 models, including the Fit. According to the agency, the suspicions do not affect the models that are currently being produced, so the Ministry did not give instructions to suspend deliveries.
