GDP production in Azerbaijan has grown in 5 months

June 13, Fineko/ Over Jan-May 2024, the country produced GDP for 48.26 bn manats ($28.25 bn).

ABC.AZ reports that according to the State Statistics Committee that this indicator is 4.2% more against Jan-May 2023.

The economic growth rate was 4.3%.

Compared with Jan-May 2023, value-added production in the non-oil/gas sector of the economy increased by 7.3%, while in the oil & gas sector it remained at the same level.

39.7% of GDP production accounted for industry, 9.6% for trade; vehicle repair, 7.0% for transport and warehousing, 6.0% for construction, 3.8% for agriculture, forestry and fishing, 2.4% for tourist accommodation and catering, 1.8% for industry information and communication, 20.1% for other industries, 9.6% of GDP for net taxes on products and imports.

GDP per capita was 4,713.3 manats ($2,772).
