June 20, Fineko/abc.az. The budget of the Compulsory Health Insurance Fund has reached 3 bn manats.

ABC.AZ reports that Zaur Aliyev, the chairman of the State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance, stated about this at the international insurance forum in Baku.

He noted that the increase in Fund's budget allows the Agency to reduce the burden on most of the population.

"Now we are also gradually taking over a number of serious operations. For example, one of the most expensive diseases is cancer. We are working on this, and we will take over this in the near future. Those who go to medical centers require insurance. This means that proper educational work has been carried out," Aliyev said.
