June 24, Fineko/abc.az. The management of the Honda Corporation has decided to stop the production of mopeds with engine capacity of 50 cc or less by November 2025, including the world's best-selling Super Cub series, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Japanese media.
The decision is justified by the introduction of stricter vehicle operating standards and requirements for exhaust emissions. In addition, amid the popularity of electric scooters, bicycles and motorcycles, sales of Honda mopeds have decreased.
