As the main activity of the industrial park, the Araz Valley Economic Zone, it is planned to create a logistics & shopping center, warehouse complexes, wholesale and retail trade facilities, a fleet of vehicles, customs, refueling points, repair of automotive and other equipment.

ABC.AZ reports that Seymur Adigezalov, the chairman of board of the Economic Zones Development Agency (IZIA), said about this at the event "New Opportunities for Entrepreneurs: Let's revive Karabakh together" in Shusha.

He added that the priority areas of activity of the Aghdam Industrial Park are also the production of building materials, packaging of agricultural products, canning of fruits and vegetables, production and processing of meat and dairy products, feed, fertilizers, as well as the organization of service areas, cold storage, etc.

"Construction and installation works by residents of both industrial parks are continuing at a rapid pace, preparatory work is already in the final stage in some of them, several enterprises are planned to be launched in the near future. An example is enterprises producing wallpaper, shoes of several types, roofing, pipes and box profiles, ventilation equipment, fire-fighting equipment, various metal products, electrical distribution equipment and electrical outlets, as well as automation and telemechanics systems, the opening of which is expected this year," Adigezalov said.
