July 1, Fineko/abc.az. Yildirim Demirören, chairman of board of Turkish group Demirören Holdinq, spoke about investments in the Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur economic regions of Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that in an interview with Hurriyet newspaper on Sunday, Demirören told about holding’s investments not only in Türkiye, but also abroad, particularly in Azerbaijan.

Demirören recalled that the group of companies he heads specializes in energy, logistics and media: "Our investments contribute to the economic well-being not only of Türkiye, but also of our fraternal states. But more importantly, our activity contributes to strengthening fraternal ties between States. This makes us very happy."

According to Demirören, after Azerbaijan's victory in the Patriotic War, the holding became one of the first companies that decided to contribute to the restoration of the territories liberated from occupation.

"We are helping restore and develop the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation, and we are implementing new projects. Our investments are continuing," he emphasized.
