July 3, Fineko/abc.az. In the first half of 2024, the trade turnover between Russia and Azerbaijan increased by 13%.

ABC.AZ reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin made this statement at a meeting with Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev.

"On the key issue, namely trade and economic cooperation, our relations are developing positively, with turnover of more than $4 bn, and $4.5 bn are Russian direct investments in the economy of Azerbaijan. The trend is good in the first half of the year - an increase of 13%," he said.

He also invited President Aliyev to discuss the development of the North-South corridor project.
