July 3, Fineko/abc.az. Some time ago, various opinions were expressed in connection with meat prices. One of them relates to the reduction in prices for beef and mutton after the Gurban Holiday. But what is the current situation? Are prices expected to decrease?

ABC.AZ reports that in connection with the mentioned issue, economist Akif Nasirli gave an interview to Yeni Sabah.

The expert stressed that there is stability in this industry:

"Currently, meat prices have decreased compared to the days during the Gurban holiday. For example, if a kilogram of mutton cost 21-22 manats on a holiday, then it has already decreased to 19-19.5 manats, and beef - to 14-15 manats. Meat prices are stable in this area. I think that since it is the summer months now, and the month of Maharram is approaching, meat prices will remain stable."
