July 4, Fineko/abc.az. The one-year visa-free regime will be unilaterally applied to Chinese citizens.

ABC.AZ reports that information about this is reflected in the Joint Declaration on the Establishment of Strategic Partnership between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the People's Republic of China, adopted on July 3 within the Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Astana.

The parties express their readiness to strengthen cooperation in the field of tourism and promote the overall development of tourism. China welcomes Azerbaijan's participation in the annual China International Tourism Fair and other tourism exhibitions, as well as the decision of the Azerbaijani side to unilaterally apply a one-year visa-free regime to Chinese citizens in order to develop tourism, as well as further expand economic, humanitarian and cultural ties. The parties will continue to facilitate mutual travel of citizens.
