July 4, Fineko/abc.az. Harvesting of 62.8% of grain fields has been completed in Azerbaijan.

The Ministry of Agriculture informs that machine operators have removed 635,646 hectares of land (30,844 hectares more versus the same term).

Harvesting is fully completed on 86.4% of barley fields and 45.7% of wheat fields. Currently, the average yield of barley is 29.7 c/ha, and wheat is 31.9 c/ha.

To date, 2,025,070 tons of crops have been harvested from the fields, including 1,089,912 tons of barley and 935,158 tons of wheat.

1,576 combines are involved in the harvesting, 633 of which belong to Agroservice, 943 - to individuals and legal entities.
