July 4, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-May 2024, 965,600 foreigners from abroad arrived in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that 645,400 foreigners arrived for tourist purposes and 320,200 for other purposes.

In annual comparison, the number of foreign arrivals grew by 252,600 people (35.4%), tourists - by 193,000 people (42.7%), arrivals for other purposes - by 59,600 people (22.9%).

Tourists accounted for 66.8% of foreign arrivals, and the number of arrivals for other purposes was 33.2%.
