July 8, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st quarter of 2024, the rate of working people in Nakhchivan sharply decreased.

The number of able-bodied population of the autonomous republic for the first 3 months reached 59,800 people (49,200 people, or 45.1% less against Q1 of 2023).

The sharpest decrease in the number of employees occurred in the city of Nakhchivan - by 25,600 people (45.5%). The smallest decrease was recorded in Kengerli - 1,965 and Sadarak district - 1,977 people.

In percentage terms, the smallest decrease was registered in Babek district - by 37.5%, and the highest - in Sadarak district - by 62.2%.
