July 8, Fineko/abc.az. Top 3 of the most expensive cities in the world were headed by Geneva, Zurich and New York.

ABC.AZ reports that the Numbeo analytical agency has updated the ranking of the most expensive cities in the world.

The list includes 218 cities from all over the world. Among the 20 most expensive cities in the world are 12 from the USA, London, which took 13th place, and Singapore in 18th position.

Almaty and Astana are recognized as the most expensive cities in Central Asia, occupying 164 and 176 places, respectively.

However, only four cities from this region were included in the rating, including Bishkek and Tashkent.

Life in Istanbul turned out to be slightly more expensive than in Moscow, with 136 and 137 places, respectively.

The last places in the list are occupied by several cities of Ukraine and cities of India and Pakistan.
