July 11, Fineko/abc.az. In Azerbaijan, the functions of applying the Competition Code will be carried out by administrative courts.

ABC.AZ reports that Supreme Court’s deputy chairman Chingiz Askerov said about this during the 1st National Competition Forum held in Baku.

"In this regard, educational events will be held in the administrative courts. There are enough professional judges working in administrative courts. I am sure that there will be no problems with the application of the Competition Code, the document will be successfully implemented, " Askerov emphasized.

The State Service participates in the preparation and implementation of state policy in the field of antimonopoly policy, public procurement, technical regulation, standardization, metrology, and consumer protection. The main mission of the Service is to create conditions for free competition and effective protection of entrepreneurship, which ensures sustainable development of country's economy.
