In Azerbaijan, AZN 742 million of public funds were saved in 2023, thanks to ensuring transparency of the procurement process, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Mammad Abbasbeyli, the head of the State Service for Antimonopoly Control & Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan,

"Thanks to the digitalization of the procurement process, our country saved AZN 742 million of public finances last year,"  Abbasbeyli said.

He added that as a result of complete digitalization of the procurement process, it is expected that the amount of savings will be even more significant this year.
