China's share in Azerbaijan's smartphone market has grown

July 16, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-May 2024, smartphone imports from abroad increased by 21%.

ABC.AZ reports that our country imported 525,966 smartphones versus 433,683 phones for the 2023 same term.

The cost of smartphones imported in Azerbaijan reached $148.2 million.

76% of smartphones, or 400,896 cell phones were imported into the country from China, and the import value was $107.3 million. The share of Chinese smartphones in the Azerbaijani market for Jan-May 2023 was 69%. In 2022, this figure was 40%.
