July 17, Fineko/abc.az. This year, two enterprises with total investment value of 39.2 million manats will start operating in the Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park.

ABC.AZ reports that SCIP plans to operate an enterprise for production of construction chemicals Kartaş Kimya LLC, automobiles, medium-tonnage and heavy-duty IVECO brand vehicles Az-Tex-Import LLC.

As part of the media tour organized in the industrial park, the director of Kartaş Kimya LLC, Necmeddin Tashbagh, said that construction work at the enterprise for production of construction chemicals has already been completed:

"In the coming months, work on the installation of equipment will begin at the enterprise. The investment value of the enterprise, which will provide 250 people with permanent jobs, is 20 million manats, more than 15 million manats have already been invested in the project."

He added that in addition to production of construction chemicals, the plant envisages production of waterproofing materials for various purposes and products for floor coverings for the first time in the country.
