IMF raises Türkiye's GDP growth forecast

July 17, Fineko/abc.az. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has raised its forecast for Türkiye's GDP growth in 2024 up to 3.6%.

ABC.AZ reports that such data is contained in the world economy survey for July, released by the IMF.

Thus, the IMF improved the April forecast for Türkiye, according to which the country's economic growth was estimated at 3.1% by the end of this year.

According to the July review, Türkiye's GDP growth in 2025 is projected at 2.7%.

The IMF also shared estimates on global economic growth. According to İMF's forecasts, the global economy will grow by 3.2% this year and 3.3% next year.
