July 18, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), with the participation of the State Oil Fund, held a currency auction.

According to the CBA, at the currency auction on July 18, the demand of banks amounted to $80.2 million and was fully secured. This is $20 million (33.2%) more than at the last auction.

At a foreign exchange auction on July 16, the CBA sold $60.2 million to banks.

According to the results of the currency auction, the weighted average exchange rate of the manat was formed at the level of 1.7000 AZN/USD.
