July 22, Fineko/abc.az. In 6 months of 2024, the number of participants in foreign trade in Azerbaijan decreased by 2,427 people up to 40,248 people.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee that for the past 6 months of 2024, the number of individuals participating in foreign trade reached 31,317, legal entities (companies) - 8,931.

Of the legal entities, 8,741 are representatives of the private sector and 190 are reps of the public sector.

During the year, the number of individuals participating in foreign trade dropped by 3,135 people, and legal entities from the public sector - by 33 people.

In 2023, the number of participants in foreign trade amounted to 42,675, including individuals - 34,452 and legal entities - 8,223. Of the legal entities, 8,000 were from the private sector and 223  — public sector.
