Another airport to open in Türkiye

July 22, Fineko/abc.az. A new airport will start operating in Türkiye.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Turkish press that Minister of Transport & Infrastructure Abdulkadir Urologu announced that Çukurova International Airport will be opened on August 10 by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Investments in the new airport totaled 244.5 million euro, and over 25 years, rent in the amount of 297.1 million euro will be paid through these investments.

Uraloglu pointed out that the airport, built on an area of 800 hectares, has capacity of 8 million passengers.

He undelined that the airport will serve the whole of Çukurova, including Adana and Mersin.
