July 22, Fineko/abc.az. By July 1, 2024, products for 13.5 billion manats were sold in Azerbaijan from industrial zones, some of which were exported for 4.4 billion manats, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Economic Zones Development Agency (under the Ministry of Economy).

As of the 1st half of this year, sales accounted for 1.4 billion manats, and exports — 500 million manats.

The products made in the industrial zones were exported to more than 70 countries.

To date, 151 business entities with total investment value of 8 billion manats have been granted resident status in industrial zones. Entrepreneurs have invested 6.8 billion manats in industrial zones and created more than 10,500 permanent jobs. At the next stage, according to existing projects, it is planned to additionally invest 1 billion manats in industrial zones and create more than 7,100 new jobs.
