July 23, Fineko/abc.az. The premiums and compensation payments on compulsory civil liability insurance of motor vehicle owners have increased in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that for Jan-Jun 2024, the premiums on this type of insurance amounted to 79.6 million manats (2.776 million manats, or 4% more against Jan-Jun 2023 — 76.875 million manats.

Comepnsations on this type of insurance were paid for 57.965 million manats (11.464 million manats or 25% more than a year earlier — 46.49 million manats).
