July 23, Fineko/abc.az. The premiums on compulsory real estate insurance have increased in Azerbaijan, while payment of compensation on this type of insurance decreased.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the CBA that for Jan-Jun 2024, the premiums on this type of insurance amounted to 56,273 manats (162,000 manats or 0.3% more against the first 6 months of 2023 —  56,111 manats.

Over Jan-Jun 2024, the payments on compulsory real estate insurance totaled 1,382 manats (796,000 manats or 37% less than a year earlier - 2,178 manats.

The loss rate on this type of insurance made up 2%.
