July 24, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st half of 2024, the total assets of Azerbaijan's credit unions amounted to 12.4 million manats.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that the figure is 700,000 manats or 5% less than a year ago.

In the same period of 2023, the assets of credit unions totaled 13.1 million manats.

Of the assets, 600,000 manats accounted for cash, 10.7 million manats for loans, 100,000 manats for fixed assets minus depreciation, 900,000 manats for accrued interests, 100,000 manats for other assets.

Accrued interest–bearing assets remained unchanged, cash and correspondent accounts decreased by 200,000 manats (25%), loan portfolio – by 400,000 manats (4%), fixed assets - by 100,000 manats (2-fold).
