July 24, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaiajni Cabinet Ministers has amended the resolution from January 19, 2001 "Excise rates on excisable goods imported into the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan".

ABC.AZ reports that in this regard, Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed a new decree.

Under the new decree, the excise tax on each liter of champagne imported in Azerbaijan was reduced from 5.1 to 2.7 manats, the excise tax on each liter of non-denatured ethyl alcohol (with an alcohol concentration of 80% or more) and non-denatured ethyl alcohol (with an alcohol concentration of 80% or less) was increased from 6 to 6.8 manats, the excise tax for each liter of alcoholic tinctures obtained as a result of distillation of grape wine or grape pomace has been increased from 8 up to 8.8 manats.
