July 24, Fineko/abc.az. The number of automobiles with hybrid engine imported in Azerbaijan for Jan-Jun 2024 grew by 22.3% against the 2023 same term and their cost by 66.8%, while the number of automobiles with electric motor by 33.9% and theor cost by 32.8%.

ABC.AZ informs that the main cause of a drop on both the number and cost of automobiles powered only by an internal combustion engine imported into the country involved in the payment of customs duties relates to the restriction of the import of cars after 10 years from the date of issue.
