July 26, Fineko/abc.az. A subsidiary of Kazakhstan’s national railway company KTZ Express and Chinese company China Railway Container Transport Co. Ltd. The Iran-China transport route is being restored.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to Kazakhstan Railways that the solemn ceremony of launching the Iran-China container train with the participation of representatives of Iran, China, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan took place at the Iranian railway station Aprin.

The report says that 50 forty-foot containers loaded with gypsum powder set off on the Iran-Kazakhstan-China route. The total travel time via the route will be 12 days.

This is an important step towards restoring the transport corridor and strengthening international trade relations between the participating countries of the route.
