July 29, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st half of 2024, the cargo transportation via the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR, Middle Corridor) increased by 65%, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the press service of the Government of Kazakhstan.

“Over Jan-Jun 2024, the volume of traffic through TITR grew by 65%, up to 2.1 million tons,” a government spokesman says.

Vice Minister of Transport of Kazakhstan Satzhan Ablaliyev informed that the TITR transportation is expected to increase up to 4.2 million tons.

In 2023, cargo transportation by TITR grew by 65% versus 2022 and totaled 2.7 million tons (in 2022 - 1.7 million tons).
