July 29, Fineko/abc.az. The data on premiums and payment of compensations on voluntary disability insurance in Azerbaijan for Jan-Jun 2024 has been published.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that for the past 6 months the premiums on this type of insurance amounted to 1,935 manats (1,138 manats, or 2.4-fold more against Jan-Jun 2023 - 798,000 manats).

During this period, compensation payments on this type of insurance totaled 86,000 manats (76,000 manats or 9-fold more than a year earlier  - 10,000 manats).

The loss rate made up 4% (a rise of 3% against Jan-Jun 2023 - 1%).
