July 29, Fineko/abc.az. Newcastle disease has been reported in the state of Rio Grande do Sul of the Federal Republic of Brazil and highly pathogenic cases of avian influenza in the Australian Capital Territory, located in the administrative territory of the Australian Union.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Food Safety Agency that taking into account the principle of zoning the territory of the Republic in the state of Rio Grande do Sul and the Australian Capital Territory to protect against these infectious diseases, from enterprises located within a radius of 10 km from the farm where the outbreak occurred, import from enterprises of live poultry and hatching eggs, meat poultry, finished meat products from poultry and all types of poultry products containing poultry processing products (with the exception of heat-treated goods, ensuring the destruction of disease viruses), feed and feed additives for poultry, equipment used for keeping, slaughtering and processing poultry (with the exception of feed and feed additives obtained by plant, chemical and microbiological synthesis), is temporarily restricted in accordance with the Code of Terrestrial Animal Health of the WHO.
