July 29, Fineko/abc.az. For the first time, the UK dropped out of dozens of leading manufacturing countries amid changes in the global economy, ABC.AZ reports, referring to The Times.

The UK has dropped to 12th place in the latest ranking for 2022. A year earlier, the country was ranked 8th.

Great Britain was surpassed by Russia and Mexico – they rose to 8th and 7th places, respectively.

According to the publication, it is explained with growth of defense production in Russia and China's investments in Mexico. China and the USA took the leading positions in production.
