July 31, Fineko/abc.az. The State Agency of Highways of Azerbaijan is finishing construction of a new road on the territory of the Javanshir Bridge in Baku.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the agency, as part of the work carried out in accordance with the Building Codes and Regulations, work was conducted on the territory to dismantle the bridge, transport disassembled parts from the territory. Then, unusable soil was dug up and removed at this place, communication lines were moved, backfilling works were carried out and a new roadbed was built.

In accordance with the project, the construction of a new road and a road base for the construction of entrances and exits connecting to the main road was completed on the territory of the overpass location, as well as asphalting work was carried out.

In addition, in accordance with the project, the State Agency of Highways of Azerbaijan is carrying out additional work on the improvement of dividing strips and roadsides, laying new green spaces on the fertile soil layer.
