August 1, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are increasing in Thursday’s trading after a jump in the last session amid rising tensions in the Middle East.

The price of Brent crude futures for October on the ICE Futures exchange rose by $0.64 (0.79%) to $81.48 per barrel by 09:35. Following the trading on July 31, October’s Brent crude futures grew by $2.77 (3.55%) to $80.84 per barrel.

The price of September’s WTI oil futures on the NYMEX commodity exchange increased by $0.70 (0.90%) to $78.61 per barrel by 09:35. Following the trading on July 31, WTI oil futures for September rose in price by $3.18 (4.26%) to $77.91 per barrel.
